History

The Thermal Club is a members-only motorsport resort in the desert southeast of Palm Springs that opened in 2012. It has several road circuits that can be run in many configurations, the longest being a 5.1-mile GT layout. It hosted IndyCar's non-points $1 Million Challenge in 2024 and a points-paying IndyCar race in 2025.
