History
Chuckwalla opened in 2010 in the desert near Joshua Tree National Park, on land once used by General Patton's troops for World War II training. A water-sports park had been planned for the site before the course was built instead. The Ed Bargy-designed circuit can run in either direction, and in February 2026 the property was put up for sale at $26 million.
