History
Built on the site of the Pikes Peak Meadows horse track, the one-mile oval opened in 1997 and hosted IndyCar plus NASCAR Busch and Truck Series races until 2005. International Speedway Corporation bought it and stopped operations in 2005, and PPIR LLC reopened it in 2008 for amateur events, with professional racing barred by deed. The owners scheduled 2026 as the last season before redeveloping the land.
