History
Gene and Gerda Heffley founded the track along I-25 north of Denver in 1965. It hosted NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series races from 1995 to 1997, including a 1995 finish decided by one-thousandth of a second. The oval was resurfaced in 2019 and continues as Colorado's main paved short track.
