History
George Barber started the collection in the late 1980s and first showed it to the public in Birmingham in the mid-1990s. The museum moved into a purpose-built five-level building beside Barber Motorsports Park in 2003. It is best known for holding what is regarded as the largest motorcycle collection in the world, along with a large group of Lotus race cars.
