History
Stockton 99 opened in 1947 as a dirt track and was paved the following year, making it one of the oldest continuously operating short tracks on the West Coast. It hosted NASCAR West and Southwest touring races for decades. After a brief closure during the 2008 financial crisis it reopened in 2009 under operator Tony Noceti.
