History
Built starting in 1949, the quarter-mile opened on dirt in 1951 and was permanently paved in 1955. It has been Long Island's only auto racing venue since Westhampton Raceway closed in 2003 and is known for its figure-8 races and the landmark Indian statue at its gate. The track is owned by Connie Partridge and Tom Gatz.
