History
A former horse track, Oswego began auto racing in 1951 on dirt, was paved in 1952, and was stretched to five-eighths of a mile in 1962. It is known as the last track to feature supermodifieds as a weekly division, highlighted by the International Classic each Labor Day weekend. The Caruso family owned it for more than 40 years, and it was temporarily covered in clay to host Super DIRT Week beginning in 2016.
