History
Indianapolis Raceway Park opened in 1960 west of Indianapolis, and its road course was added in 1968. The complex has gone by several Lucas Oil-branded names and is now Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park. Its drag strip hosts the NHRA U.S. Nationals, and its 0.686-mile oval stays busy. According to Wikipedia, the road course was last used in 2007.
