History
Opened in 1960 as Indianapolis Raceway Park, the NHRA-owned complex has staged drag racing's U.S. Nationals every Labor Day weekend since 1961. It carried the O'Reilly Raceway Park name from 2006 to 2010 and Lucas Oil Raceway from 2011, taking its current name in 2021. NASCAR's Truck Series returned to the short oval in 2022, while the original road course has fallen out of use.
