History
Racing has taken place at the Ventura County Fairgrounds since the 1920s, and the current fifth-mile clay oval opened in 1985. The short, steep track sits beside the Pacific Ocean. It is home to the Turkey Night Grand Prix midget race and the Cory Kruseman sprint car driving school.
