History
Sharon Speedway opened in 1929 and is one of the oldest dirt ovals in the country that has raced continuously. Lee Petty won a NASCAR Grand National race there in 1954. The track was cut from a half mile to 3/8 mile in 2002 and was used by the SRX series in 2022. The Blaney family, including NASCAR drivers Dave and Ryan Blaney, owns it.
