History

Port Royal Speedway, nicknamed the 'Speed Palace,' opened in September 1938 on the Juniata County Fairgrounds in central Pennsylvania. It shut down during World War II and resumed racing in 1946. Its signature race is the Tuscarora 50 for 410 sprint cars, and James McFadden won the 59th running in 2026.
