History
The one-mile dirt oval at the Indiana State Fairgrounds hosted the Hoosier Hundred from 1953, a race won over the years by many Indianapolis 500 stars. In 2019 the fair board announced the track would be converted to a limestone surface for harness racing and fair parking, and Tyler Courtney won what was billed as the final race. One more Hoosier Hundred ran there in 2020 before the event moved to the paved Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park.
