History
The Springfield Mile is a one-mile dirt oval on the Illinois State Fairgrounds that has hosted championship racing for decades. Its ARCA stock car race dates to 1963, with ARCA the sole sanctioning body since 1985; Brent Crews won the 2025 edition. The track is also famous among motorcycle fans as the home of the Springfield Mile flat-track races.
