History
Designed by Tavo Hellmund, Kevin Schwantz and Hermann Tilke, the circuit opened in October 2012 as the first US track purpose-built for Formula 1 and has hosted the US Grand Prix since. It also holds MotoGP's American round and NASCAR's Cup Series road race. The World Endurance Championship raced here as Lone Star Le Mans in several seasons, including from 2024.
