History
Built in 1959 and opened on Memorial Day weekend 1960, Atco was New Jersey's oldest drag strip. It ran for 63 seasons in the Pinelands of Camden County. A 2020 application proposed reusing the paved areas of the roughly 180-acre site for an auto auction operation, and the track abruptly shut down in mid-2023.
