History

Broadcaster Ken Squier founded the high-banked quarter-mile, which held its first race in June 1960. Its signature event, the Milk Bowl, dates to 1962, and the winner traditionally kisses a cow in victory lane. The American-Canadian Tour has raced here around 150 times, and Cris Michaud and Pat Malone took over ownership in 2017.
