Oxford Plains Speedway

Construction began in 1950, and the 3/8-mile oval became Maine's largest racing venue. Its Oxford 250 has drawn NASCAR national-series stars over the years, and the grounds held huge 1988 concerts including the Grateful Dead. Tom Mayberry bought the speedway from Bill Ryan in 2012.
