History
The site began as a road course called Bryar Motorsports Park in the 1960s. Bob Bahre bought it in 1988 and built the flat one-mile oval, which opened in 1990 as New Hampshire International Speedway and gained a NASCAR Cup date in 1993. Speedway Motorsports bought it in late 2007 and renamed it New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
