Museum of Automobiles

Winthrop Rockefeller opened the museum on Petit Jean Mountain in 1964, before he became governor of Arkansas. After his death his car collection was sold to Bill Harrah, and the building was donated to the state and reopened as a nonprofit museum in 1976. Its displays include a 1923 Climber touring car built in Arkansas, and it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2019.
