Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course

Les Griebling and a group of Mansfield-area businessmen opened Mid-Ohio in 1962. Jim Trueman bought it in 1982 and made major upgrades, and in 1990 a bypass straight created the shorter pro layout. Green Savoree Racing Promotions has owned it since 2011. Mid-Ohio is a long-time IndyCar venue and also home to a large amateur racing program.
