History
Owner Dan Schnitta broke ground on the Alan Wilson-designed circuit in 1995, and its first full season ran in 1996. A 2009-10 expansion added roughly 1,770 feet of pavement. The track is known for generous runoff areas, which made it a favorite of amateur racers, and it has hosted the GRIDLIFE festival since 2014.
