History
The Blackhawk Museum opened in 1988 in the Blackhawk Plaza development east of San Francisco Bay. Its Don Williams automobile gallery rotates rare and historically significant cars, while other galleries cover art, culture and history. It is a Smithsonian affiliate and was named the best museum in the East Bay by a local newspaper in 2026.
